Relationships matter. Here at Grace, one of the primary ways we build relationships and cultivate fellowship with each other is through a network of small groups called Life Groups. While we are joined to all believers in the local church, Life Groups allow us to relate more deeply with a smaller number of people. Groups go through a curriculum together—one that our whole church is studying, or something more tailored to the interests of the group. Each group sets its own schedule based on members’ availability, and meets at one of the member’s houses or at the church.
Our Seasoned Salt group is made up of the 55 and older members and friends attending or associated with Grace. It is not exclusive, so anyone younger is always welcome to join. The group gathers monthly to attend functions of interest, e.g. plays, social gatherings, potlucks, etc. Its members also try to be aware of the needs of the seniors for fellowship and care, and coordinate times of service or volunteering. Anyone, including young families with children, is welcome to participate in these events.
