Our Leadership

Session

The Session is made up of the senior pastor and ruling elders that have been elected by the congregation. The role of these servant leaders is to give oversight to the church and to shepherd.   The Session gives oversight by ensuring that Grace Church remains accountable to God's Word and our vision and values.  They also give oversight to the church by forming and adopting the annual budget.  The Session shepherds by coming alongside the pastoral staff to provide spiritual care and nurture for the members of Grace Church (Titus 1:5-9; 1 Timothy 3:1-7).

Deacons

The deacons are elected by the congregation to facilitate and lead the charity and mercy ministry of Grace church.  They have an "ear" for the mercy needs of our members.  The deacons seek to pray with and for those who are in special need.  They are commissioned to lead Grace's efforts to meet the mercy and just needs of the city.  They also give oversight to the diaconal fund (Acts 6:1-7; 1 Timothy 3:8-13). At Grace, we have a broader diaconate team of men and women who serve alongside the deacons.

Ministry Teams

We are a church that values each member using his or her gifts and abilities to help us accomplish the greater mission that Jesus gave His church.  We have various men and women leading teams that give oversight to the ministries of Grace Church.    
Below are the various ministry teams of our church. 

Growth & Connection

The Growth and Connection team gives vision and oversight to the spiritual growth and connection of adults at Grace Church.

Grace Kids

The Grace Kids team gives vision and oversight to the various ministries to the children of Grace Church.

Finance

The Finance team gives oversight and accountability to the finances of Grace Church.

Missions

The Missions team connects our congregation to our mission partnerships and the needs of these partnerships.
