COVID-19 update 3/16

Dear Grace Church,

This season we have entered is bringing many questions and much uncertainty. We are committed to communicating with you regularly as well as pointing us all toward God, our greatest hope. In this particular update, we are addressing church activities over the next two weeks. We are suspending all Grace Church activities through March 27th. At that point, then we will reassess how to move forward as a church. By activities we mean any event or gathering that has oversight or is sanctioned by our church inside or outside the building. This covers everything from Life Groups and Discipleship Groups to Bible Studies and Students of Grace activities. Our aim in this decision is to respect our governing authorities and to show love to our neighbor and community by seeking to "flatten the curve" and avoiding contact as much as possible with those outside of our home. We will provide some sort of worship service virtually on Sunday, March 23rd. Our goal is to livestream the service. If we're are unable to accomplish this goal this week, we will produce another audio service like this past Sunday. Details about this Sunday's worship and our progress towards live streaming will come out later in the week. By the way, thank you so much for the encouraging comments about our recent worship service. We have adopted new protocols for anyone entering the building or gathering in their home for a Grace-sanctioned event (post 3/27 of course). Please check them out below. Also, we are aggressively brainstorming how to creatively lead and shepherd you and your family during this "new normal" for the foreseeable future. You can anticipate more updates soon.

Trusting in our King & Father with you,

Grace Leadership
